A fun, collaborative, and generative take on Inktober.

Did you know Wikipedia has a page for every day of the Gregorian calendar? https://wikipedia.org/wiki/October_12 contains a big list of recorded, historical events that happened on October 12th—from the fall of Babylon to the United States’ withdrawal from UNESCO. We pulled these big lists and plucked their nouns. Every day we’d randomly select three of those nouns, and use them as prompts. Each prompt was complemented with human-written procedural instructions, such as ‘draw with empathy.’ We hope you enjoy this small zine, and are inspired to create your own Poetober. Best, Patrick & Lynne
